How it works
The format
Six handlers, six hounds
The field is set. Every handler runs one dog. Six teams enter, one walks out a champion.
Two pools, pool play
The field splits into two pools of three. Every handler is guaranteed two hunts in pool play — no one goes home early.
Top two advance
The top two win-loss records from each pool move on. Four teams. Single elimination. Win or go home.
Champion crowned
Semifinals. Final. One handler, one hound, one champion. The cast judges decide the close calls.

How it played out

Season 2 · 2026
What's coming
Season 2 was filmed in April 2026 and premieres mid-to-late June. New field of six handlers, including Season 1 champion Randy returning with Max to defend the title. New dogs, new pools, same format.
